PhD fokozatát 2005-ben szerezte filozófiából (Rutgers University). Oktatott és kutatott Magyarországon (PTE, MOME, BME), az Egyesült Államokban (Rutgers University, Johns Hopkins University, Rowan University), Argentínában (Universidad de Buenos Aires) és Spanyolországban (Universidad de Murcia). A BME egyetemi docense, a PH21 nemzetközi kortárs fotográfiai galéria művészeti vezetője. Művészetfilozófiai és fotóelméleti témákban végez kutatásokat, fotográfusként itthon és külföldön is rendszeresen kiállít.
