International/Erasmus programs

The Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (GTK) offers a wide range of courses taught in English at bachelor’s level or master’s level. The courses are open to international exchange students. Every year more than 50 courses are offered in English as the language of instruction specifically designed for international students from 600 full-time programs (from other faculties) and part-time programs (Erasmus+, CEEPUS, “Science without Borders” and other international bilateral programs).

Partner universities

The Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (GTK) of the BME has signed Erasmus+ professional mobility agreements for students and teachers with more than 70 European higher education institutions. For several years now the Faculty has operated a strict tendering system in accordance with university regulations, dealing predominantly with academic and professional work. Every year 5-10 members of the faculty travel abroad within the framework of the Erasmus mobility program for teaching and non-teaching staff of higher education institutions, while a similar number of academics visit the faculty from abroad.
